My Take on Thanksgiving

Before I officially begin, I’d like to put it out there that I generally do not care when or how you decorate as long as by December 25th you have your tree up. However, if you are the type of monster to start decorating on November 1st at 12:00 A.M., we may not be able to be friends. Give it a rest, we’re all excited about Christmas but at least wait a LITTLE BIT. Maybe I’m biased because I’m an avid thanksgiving enjoyer but this is my article so I can say what I want.

I think Thanksgiving can be a meal celebrated with Christmas decorations up, but once again, decorating at the beginning of November is a no-go in my book. The holiday will eventually come, you’re not gonna miss it. Just wait a few weeks. Once Thanksgiving is over, feel free to go all out. That’s what I do, and in my opinion it’s the correct thing to do. I love Christmas as much as anyone else, but I need my stuffing and mashed potatoes, too. Hashtag justice for turkey day.
