It’s that time of year where you’re either struggling to find a Christmas gift for someone or you’re on the other end and are struggling to answer the question, “What do you want for Christmas?” If you are like me, we both struggle with the latter of the two. I don’t know what it is about Christmas, but I never know what I want and I dread when it’s time that I get asked that question by my family members. I normally try and write things down if I see something I want, but most of the time I forget to. A tool I use during this time is instagram because I will get ads right in my face and sometimes they are helpful, so let’s rate this round of ads and see if anything will make it onto my 2022 Christmas list.
First up is this pair of high top converse. I am a huge fan of converse in general and these ones specifically I’m really drawn to. I like that the colors are pretty neutral and I can wear them with just about anything. The corduroy on the heel also excites me. I am a big fan of texture. If I’m in a store and there’s a fluffy shirt, something that looks like an unusual texture, or corduroy, I will be running over to it in order to touch it. I would buy these and wear them with everything I own.
Hockey might just be my favorite sport. It is so fun to watch and I honestly wish sometimes that I got into it as a child. Instead, now I can’t ice skate to save my life and I’m only trying to do the basics without anyone touching me or trying to handle a stick and puck, so I think I should just stick to watching the pros do it. On that note, despite loving hockey I really don’t have any merch to show for it. I have a few penguins T-shirts, but that’s about it. So one of these hoodies would be great to add to my wardrobe. I like the blue penguins jersey in the picture and the website has so many other versions so any fan could get their favorite. I also feel that I would be mad comfy in it and not want to take it off.
Lastly, we have another pair of shoes, this time from Nike. I just like the sage green color on the accents of the shoe, and I surprisingly don’t have a shoe like this one. There isn’t anything too special about these to me, but they are still nice and I would wear them a lot. I might try and find a pair that is more interesting, but overall I think it was a good fit and might be something I would consider buying.
I am very pleased with these options and they will all probably be on the list this year. +3 to Instagram. that leaves out total so far at: Me – 4.5 Instagram – 4.5. Somehow after Instagram’s awful round last time they managed to redeem themselves.
