Do Instagram Ads Really Know Me?
February 7, 2023
Now that Christmas has passed, I am in the in-between period of receiving gifts. I have to wait until November before I have to start telling people what I want for my birthday, then of course Christmas soon after that. Instead of waiting until the last minute to think of something I truly want, I should continue to look for items that spark my interest throughout the year. What better tool to use than my handy-dandy friend, Instagram ads.
First up are these super adorable shirts. I love Snoopy. He is so cute. Combine him with my favorite sport, hockey, and you have something amazing. I wish I could play hockey and seeing Snoopy dressed to play makes me believe I could do it. Then I remember I can’t even ice skate without my ankles turning inward and falling on my butt. I’ll stick to just watching for now. In the meantime, take my money. Take it all. I will be purchasing one of these shirts.
Kraft singles. I don’t have a lot to say about these besides my hatred for them. They look disgusting and taste gross too. I’m kind of offended.
Goldfish crackers are good, I love them but I feel that this wasn’t a great ad choice to present to me. The most interesting part of this ad was the “mini hands” they used in the ad. I actually have a pair and like messing around with them as well.
This was a major flop this week. The shirt is cool but the food products left me disappointed and wanting more. I will say I won this round. Instagram will need a big redemption next time to keep my faith in their wisdom of what I want.
