Art or Fart? Part 9

Willow Danehy, Feature Editor

ART(left): This exquisite modern piece by modern artist jewelry smither junior Madi Hunt is said by the artist to represent the jail cell of her mind. The vague depiction of a cell leaves the art up for interpretation of the reader. I art on this. I appreciate the freedom she leaves by only filling half of the glass piece with jail cell bars. Does this represent what was, or what is yet to come? That’s for you to decide. How artsy. 80% ART 20% FART

FART(above, right): What are these. These are silly weird little guys. It is truly mostly due to the fact that I overheard Mr. Kamer discussing gnomes that I know that these are supposed to be gnomes. The red and green suggests to me that perhaps they are supposed to represent Luigi(left) and Mario(right). However, due to the way they are, it is hard to tell. Their feet bother me a lot. Pretty stinky, but kinda remind me of being a toddler who can’t create art for the life of them, and springtime. 65% FART 35% ART.

FART(left): This is a silly looking little guy who looks pretty similar to Elijah Adley. Indeed I am unsure if it is a mouse or Elijah Adley in overalls. I kinda like that it is the same thing that Megan Vasas was for Jake Santora’s Halloween party. It reminds me of how cute she looked. However, I think it is supposed to be a reflection? And it just is not. They need to review within themselves what a reflection is. Because the two mice should be identical. Uhhhhhh. They aren’t. Yikes! Still cute doh <3. 60% FART 40% ART

ART(right): Boo! Sorry. This is so cute! I love the way they did the colors with the purpose spots in the back. The cute little pink divider that created the reflection is adorable, and I like the way they made it a playing card. Boo looks perfect and so does her monster. The reflection is strikingly accurate and I adore the attention payed to detail to include the little octopus spots on the arms and feet. Love it all. Not a fart in sight. 100% ART 0% FART
