Destination #5: Breakout Pittsburgh

Activity: You and a group of friends have to try to escape a room. It is perfect for a double date (that’s what I did) or to go with a group of friends.

What is Breakout Pittsburgh? There are many different rooms with different storylines. You and your group have 60 minutes (1 hour) to escape the room. You have to solve the mystery to get out of the room. It’s for sure an amazing experience I would strongly suggest it! It’s better to be with a smaller group so that you don’t feel claustrophobic.

Did Jake and I find a downfall to Breakout? There wasn’t a downfall besides the fact that the rooms are a lot smaller than they look on the website.

Location: The Breakout that I went to was in the North Hills which was very close to the Ross Park Mall. The second Escape Room near us is in the Pittsburgh Mills.

Distance: North Hills: 38 minutes from Saxonburg. Pittsburgh Mills: 25 minutes from Saxonburg.

Price: $26 per person in the North Hills. $25 per person at the Pittsburgh Mills.
