One pair of best friends I’ve always admired are none other than Emma Velesig and Melanie McCalip. Theses two besties always hang out together, and I’m always the biggest fan of their posts together. That’s why they’re my fifth (and cutest) pair of best friends.

How long have you been best friends?
Since the beginning of freshman year.
What initiated your friendship?
We were in the same kitchen in international foods.
What are your favorite memories together?
We worked at our first ever jobs together at the beacon in the haunted house and it was terrible.
Have you ever been in a fight over something silly before? If so, what was it?
This stupid guy that Mel liked wasn’t the nicest too her and we ignored each other for a day.
What’s the most embarrassing story you can tell me about you best friend?
One time when i was at her cabin we decided to make a pumpkin pie at three in the morning and eat cereal while it was baking. i’m not sure what we started laughing at but melanie laughed so hard she spit all her cereal on my leg and foot.
What are your friendship plans for the future, ie when you go to college?
Well we both have the same kind of path for the careers we want so hopefully we go to a college that’s close to each other and maybe, if we’re lucky, the same college.

How long have you been best friends?
Emma and I have been best friends for about one year now.
What initiated your friendship?
We met at the beginning of our freshman year in Mrs. Grantz’ International Foods class. With Emma being a new student, myself along with two others invited her to join us at our table. From then on we grew closer and became very good friends.
What are your favorite memories together?
We have a ton of memories we share. Some of my favorites include baking countless cakes, having a terrible experience working at the Beacon, attending football, basketball, and volleyball games, and feeding dogs chips at a party, followed by stealing that bag of chips when we left.
Have you ever been in a fight over something silly before? If so, what was it?
One time we fought because of a stupid boy. It all went down because said boy and I were going to hang out on a night that there was a basketball game. Emma wanted to go but I told “boy” I would hang out. In the middle of a very intense game of 8 Ball, Emma agreed that if I won the game I could go with the boy she does not like. If she won the two of us would hang out. I won and she got upset but all in all it was stupid and so are boys.
What’s the most embarrassing story you can tell me about you best friend?
I could tell a lot of embarrassing stories about Emma but one of the best is from Snowball. She got a box at dinner for her leftovers that she didn’t have. She took all the lemons from everyones water and a cucumber slice and then took them home with her.
What are your friendship plans for the future, ie when you go to college?
We don’t have any set plans and we have a few years before college but hopefully we continue to be friends through all those years.
