Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice
October 16, 2018
Brace yourselves. Fall is officially upon us, and you know what that means. Yes ladies and gentlemen, it is indeed time for every basic white girl to post their PSL’s all over every social media platform, bust out the UGG boots, and take “artsy” pictures with leaves.
Fall seems to be everyone’s favorite season. I mean what’s not to love? On the other hand, there will always be people who dread it the most. If you are on of these select few individuals, then, well, you better be prepared to go into hiding for the next few months or find an alternative fall activity (you can refer to my list for some fresh ideas).
For you fall enthusiasts, such as myself, this is the perfect article for you! I hope to inspire you to have a fun and festive fall season with my bucket list. First things first, starting with the basic, yet essential, fall festivities.
Take note from the newspaper staff on ways to spice up your fall.
Go to the football games (even if it pours and gets delayed, multiple times. School spirit!)
Drink a pumpkin spice latte.
Jump in a pile of leaves, idk, fall stuff.
Go to different fall festivals (see Caroline Ejzak’s article for more).
Bake a pie; pumpkin, pecan, apple, the possibilities are endless!
Have a bonfire.
Make one last s’more before the weather gets too cold.
Hay rides.
Drink hot apple cider.
Pick a pumpkin to carve from a pumpkin patch.
Carve said pumpkin, keep it PG when carving, please.
Have a spooky movie marathon, PSA 13 Days of Halloween has been changed to 31 days.
Go to a haunted house, we love that spooky shiz.
Bake pumpkin seeds (after you’ve carved your pumpkin of course).
Pack a car full of your friends and go to a corn maze.
Pick fruit from an orchard, peaches, pears, whatever you please!
Bake fall related treats.
Indulge in all the candy corn and Halloween candy you want.
Burn fall scented candles — bonus points for having a decorative jar to go along with it.
