Frog Species: Poison Dart Frog 

 

Location of frog species: Central/South America

 

Color: Depends, really. Some are blue, others are green. A couple boys are yellow. But they is bright.

 

Size/Weight: Small fellas, usually like 1.5 cm in length and 1 oz in weight

 

Significant Identifying Features: Brightly Colored

 

Venomous?: Poisonous, chief. Don’t eat ’em.

 

Special Ability(if any): Extremely potent poison, which was used for blow darts from Amerindians back in the days.

 

Honestly chief, these frogs scared me as a kid. I thought that because of the name that they could actually shoot poison darts that would kill you instantly. Now that I am aware that it isn’t the case, I am slightly less scared of them.
