Go camping
Camping is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. I’ve gone every summer my entire life. Some of my favorite places to camp include:
- Cook Forest State Park

Hiking is a great way to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather in the summer. Some of my favorite places to hike are:
- McConnell’s Mills

Go on a road trip
Pack up your stuff and head on a spontaneous road trip with some friends. You can stay somewhere locally or farther away. I would recommend:
- the Finger Lakes – Binghamton, NY
- Niagara Falls

- Allegheny National Forest

Go to a concert
There are tons of great concerts in all different genres coming to Pittsburgh this summer ( see Paige’s previous article for a more detailed list). Some personal suggestions are:
- Luke Bryan, June 7
- Queen and Adam Lambert, July 31
- Florida Georgia Line, August 2
- Brantley Gilbert, August 31
