Protein Snack Review

Quest Peanut Butter Cups

Protein+Snack+Review

Through the past year or so, I have started focusing on working out and found quite an enjoyment for lifting.  Along with working out, protein is a thing that is very important to muscle reconstruction and recovery.  Many companies and brands make protein products, but to be quite honest, some of them are lacking in flavor, texture, and all around tolerable taste.  I’m here to review some of the more popular protein snacks and brands to give insight on what I think is worth it and what isn’t!

Quest Peanut Butter Cups

Amount of protein: 11 grams

Net carbs: 1 gram

Sugar: >1 gram

Calories: 190

In my personal opinion, these were not too bad.  As someone who has had to cut regular peanut butter cups out of my diet, these are a great substitute if you are craving something sweet and decently low in calorie, these might be the fix for you.

Texture rating 6/10: A little chalky, like most protein is, and a little dry, but nothing to terrible.

Protein/artificial taste: Artificial taste is present, but you get the sweet chocolate and peanut butter combo that is iconic to the original snack.

Would I buy again?: Yes

Overall rating: 7.5/10
