Welcome back to reading books for the AR test. In, Ned Vizzini Novel “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” we see Craig just trying to deal with the hardships that life threw at him. Now I didn’t think this book was bad, but I did not think it was good. I want something like One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest or the drama of The Bell Jar but instead we got YA Teen romance. Now don’t get me wrong it was a good book. I just thought that it would be better. For a book made for the 2010s it was not bad but I was thinking in terms of a 1950ish novel. So, to conclude, it was not bad but it is not good.
