The Election

February 10, 2017

As we all know the election is coming up. Are you team Clinton or team Trump? Although we can’t vote, we can still voice our opinions.  Here are some responses from two very political students.

Sophomore Emma West:

Q.) Who do you represent for this upcoming Presidential Election?

A.) “Clinton”

Q.) Why do you choose them?

A.) “I choose her because I despise Trump and his campaign, Hilary isn’t great but almost anyone would make a better president than Donald trump.”

Q.) What is one thing they support that you strongly agree with?

A.) “I strongly support the funding of Plan Parenthood; which Hillary Clinton agrees with.”

Q.) What is one thing you don’t fully support yet your candidate does?

A.) My canadate is kind of sly and is most likely hiding things about herself and her actions, although this is true I could list a million other things Trump is guilty for and they make her sound like a saint.”

Q.) What do you have against the other candidate?

A.) He runs a campaign based on fear, he is a manipulative business man who, with all his crazy claims and ideas, is better off running a reality show than a country

Q.) Is there anything else you would like to add?

A.) I can’t believe the two best people we could come up with to run this county were Hillary Clinton and Donald trump, I mean seriously?

Junior Cameron Elliott:

Q.) Who do you represent for this upcoming Presidential Election?

A.)“Donald Trump”

Q.) Why do you choose them?

A.) “He has good resolutions to issues that America faces today, and good plans for foreign policy.”

Q.) What is one thing they support that you strongly agree with?

A.) “One of his ideas I strongly agree with is stopping Federal Government funds for Planned Parenthood.”

Q.) What is one thing you don’t fully support yet your candidate does?

A.) “One thing I don’t support about Trump is how he runs his mouth sometimes and tip-toes around questions.”

Q.) What do you have against the other candidate?

A.)” Her plan for the economy is not a good one. For example, raising the minimum wage would lead to a decrease in jobs. Another fault is that she lies constantly.”

Q.) Is there anything else you would like to add?

A.) President Barack Obama describes Hillary perfectly by saying “She will say anything and change nothing. Hillary can’t be trusted and isn’t qualified to be President.”
