This Article is Souper Fun
Nothing like a hot bowl of liquified vegetables, noodles and meat. If you’re not sure what I’m referring to, it’s dinner cereal, I mean, soup. We already know how much I love cereal so this makes sense. This arguably not-so-filling concoction is truly a blessing in my life. Despite commonly being known as a winter food or something your mom is supposed to make you when you’re sick, I could eat soup all year around. 90 degrees? Great. I’ll take hot potato soup any day. Not too hot though because I’d rather not get a spoonful of molten lava and have to hathlthatlatha it.
Nothing hits like a good bowl of chicken noodle with mashed potatoes IN the soup and some toast. Absolutely elite meal. Chicken tortilla soup with some crackers, potato soup with garlic bread; I want it all.
I usually don’t interview people in my food opinion articles, but I have a good feeling that my fellow food critic Lara Ejzak has some good things to say.
“I’ve had very few kinds of soup, but of the soup that I have, it’s very nice, very comforting, SOUPer good,” said Ejzak.
She does agree with my point that soup is not a filling food and says “No, oh no you need an acutramol; (this literally isn’t a word Lara I don’t know what to tell you) a sandwich of some kind. Some bread with it, even some crackers. Not saltines, Ritz.”
She also is a soup in the summer truther. Ejzak said “Yeah, soup whenever you want to have soup. I don’t make the rules”
Well, there it is. Soup. If you’ve stuck around to read this whole article then you’re a certified trooper because this is definitely not my best work but it’s Friday and I want to go home. #keepingitreal.
