Senior John Weisensee has had the two tattoos he shared with me for approximately three months, although he has acquired quite a few others over the span of the past few months. His two that mean the most to him are the eye of horus he has on his hand, and the dagger he has on his arm. Weisensee rates the eye as an 11/10 on the pain scale due to the placement and dark shading. Totally worth it though, as it goes very well with his other tattoos and is quite mysterious.
“The eye of horus is a very powerful symbol in egypt,” said Weisensee. “Eyes are powerful to people, you can learn a lot from someone by looking in their eyes.”
