Summer Sheets Specials

As many of you know, the school year is almost over, and summer break is almost upon us.

Nothing says summer in western Pennsylvania like a nice campfire that you cook glizzies over, the occasional s’more, some music, and a nice movie on a white sheet with a projector.

So, let’s go through some movies (and movie series) that you should definitely rewatch this summer.

    1. The Hangover Trilogy – These are hands down some of the funniest movies you’ll ever watch. Across all my movie expertise,  Alan is easily the funniest character in cinematic history. These will give part of the family laughs as the crew goes through Vegas and Bangkok, so please ensure to keep the little ones away from the screen for this one.
  • We’re the Millers – This is a short and sweet comedy about a family who goes across the border to Mexico to have a little bit of “family” fun. It’s full of a lot of different laughs that are not suitable for the whole family, but mature audiences.
  • The Velocipaster – Whoa, this one is a shocker for some. This is a movie about a pastor who is infected by an artifact that helps him turn into a velociraptor that helps him fight crime against Chinese ninjas who are smuggling drugs across the Chinese countryside. I love it, this movie can be found on Prime Video!
  • Cocaine Bear – I think we’ve all heard of the tall tales (or should I say tails) of the Cocaine Bear. Based on a true story, there is a female black bear near Chattanooga, Tennessee who eats package after package of Cocaine. However, the killing spree of the bear is lightly dramatized, as the bear was actually dead within minutes of ingesting the drug. This movie is a horror classic, and everyone should see it once in their life.
  • Sharknado Series – We’re all familiar with the series Sharknado. These are movies about tornadoes that strike across the globe that just so happen to be  filled to the brim with deadly sharks. There are 6 total movies, each coming out a year apart from each other. There is some slight gore in this move however, as sharks are very mean and aggressive.
