We’re all narcissists. That’s why we’re always interested in learning everything about ourselves, for better or worse. That being said, welcome to my Ted Talk where I use the study of handwriting to tell you all about yourself and broadcast it to the public, for better or worse (but mostly worse because I’m not a LIAR).
Today, we’re starting off strong with Alaina Fields’s unique (unstable) handwriting, courtesy of her AP Euro notes.
The first thing I noticed about this handwriting is the PSYCHOPATHIC TENDENCIES. Just kidding. Mostly.
Some obvious traits are this waving baseline. If you don’t know what a baseline is, imagine underlining the writing with a line that touches the bottom of each letter. If that makes any sense, then I can explain that an extremely wavy baseline, like this, can indicate emotional instability and unreliability. Not to fret though! this isn’t always a negative trait. It can just mean that you’re a spontaneous and unpredictable person! That said, this looks like a VERY emotionally unpredictable person.
Thanks to some research, I was able to find out a lot of information from the lowercase letter “i” as well. The occasional hard pressure of the “i” dots indicated passion and energy! Combined with other traits that indicate similar excitement and energy, such as the dot being to the slight right of the “i” stem, and a frequent forward slant in the words, I would say this person is more extroverted and open to trying new things!
Additionally, the high placement of the “i” dot indicates high ambitions and an idealistic outlook, sometimes to the point of unrealistic expectations. Thankfully, these dots aren’t so high as to suggest this person is out of touch with reality (or are they?).
The last trait in this handwriting that I found particularly compelling were the crushed loops of the lowercase “e”s. This particular letter having little or no space inside of the loop indicates someone who feels socially or emotionally trapped and stressed. This stress can manifest in several ways, but it is common to see writers with this trait who experience physical symptoms of stress, such as stomach or lower back pain. So I’m personally hoping that Alaina finds inner social and emotional peace because she is awesome and deserves the world.
Thanks for appreciating my obvious genius and omniscience.
