You always see people carrying around their backpacks throughout the day. Have you ever wondered what’s in them? Probably not, but now you will find out! Do people bring extra stuff to school or the bare minimum?
“My favorite item in my backpack is Kristen [Gallagher],” said junior Sarah Conley.
Clearly, this is a joke, let’s get into what people really have in their backpacks! Start off with the funny stuff.
- Freshman Timothy Huggins- Super glue to fix his glasses because he is always clumsy.
- Sophomore Greyson Rhodes- A backup hat. He will not go a day without a hat; he always has a bad hair day.
- Junior Sarah Conley- Her book. “I’m a great student.”
- Senior Ali Rhodes- A protractor. “I like straight lines.”
Super glue is definitely something that everyone with glasses needs (in case they break). I think having an extra hat in your backpack is really funny. A book is just hilarious in itself. And, a protractor, straight lines in our notes are perfect.
Now you know some of the funny things students have in their backpacks during the day, this includes super glue, a backup hat, a book, and a protractor. Next are some of the essentials they carry around with them.
- Freshman Timothy Huggins- His Chromebook. “So I can play games.”
- Sophomore Greyson Rhodes- Pencil. Everyone needs a pencil to write with.
- Junior Sarah Conley- Water bottle.”I try to stay hydrated as much as possible.”
- Senior Ali Rhodes- “Chapstick, laptop charger for everyone but me, and a nail file for majos. . . batons break nails.”
I definitely need a nail file in my backpack every day. Most of us all need pencils in our backpacks. If we didn’t, how would we study? Lastly, always have some form of water throughout your day.
What do you recommend others bring to school?
- Freshman Timothy Huggins- Schedule: “So you know where your classes are.”
- Sophomore Greyson Rhodes- Water Bottle: “You should have some kind of water during your day.”
- Junior Sarah Conley- Food: “Everyone should bring food because it’s a hard life.”
- Senior Ali Rhodes- “Every yellow pass you’ve ever been given.”
These things show how unique the students here are. And everyone has their own opinion on what to bring in your backpack. You might want to listen to your classmates, you never know when you might need something.
