You should be getting into the holiday spirit. I know I am. I made gluten free sugar cookies and I wanted people to try them. Will they absolutely adore them? Will they be so dumb and hate them and want to crush it in their hand after just one bite? You will have to see…
My opinion, though you may not care much about it, will be given to you regardless. I love these cookies with all of my life. They give me life. I make them with my grandmother and cousins for Christmas and it is a great experience every time. We have a blast, which might have something to do with why I enjoy them so much. These cookies make me happy around the holidays when I want to feel like Santa Clause or I just need a little taste of sugar.
I give this cookie five out of five stars.
Jade was eager to be a taste tester for these cookies. She was pleased with the simple flavor that they had and that they weren’t too dry for a sugar cookie. Having it so early in the morning, it was the perfect amount of sweet for that time. It was enjoyable and did not give her a sugar high. Jade shared that she wouldn’t have been able to tell that it was gluten free if I didn’t tell her.

When taking a bite of this cookie, Dara’s first remark was “Mmm yum.” She slowly ate the cookie and said she was savoring it. To her, the texture was crunchy but not too dry. It wasn’t too chewy for her liking. She claimed it was perfect.

Willow took a whiff. She started with the antlers and ate the whole cookie before making any comment. “The icing is delectable,” Willow said. She then proceeded to dance and say it was delicious. The dough tasted wonderful and the texture was like a typical sugar cookie but perhaps a little crumblier. She said the cookie was even better than some regular sugar cookies. The taste was not too sticky or too sweet, but had just the perfect balance.

Abby was extremely excited to try this cookie. She BROKE the antler off and ate that to start. An interesting approach, may I add. She was very impressed with it and said that it tasted like a store bought gluten-filled cookie. It did not taste gluten free to her. She thought the cookie was perfect and she would eat several because she enjoyed it very much.

Paige said thanks as soon as I handed it to her and went straight in for the first bite. Her first remark was “Wow, that’s so good,” and said, “Is there actually no gluten in this?” To her, it was a quality Christmas cookie and she was a big fan of them.

Our final guest is the one and only Mr. Springer. I did not inform him of the fact that these cookies are gluten free. I’ve realized that in the past, people had different opinions when they knew it was gluten free before eating it. So I didn’t tell him. But, I did tell him there would be a unique plot twist at the end, which led him to being suspicious.
“Is this going to be terrible?” he asked. He thought that I cooked it badly on purpose and claimed I might have left out an important ingredient. How rude of him. He proceeded to eat the cookie very slowly and thoroughly. He was confused about why it was so good and wondered what the plot twist was… so I told him. I go, “It’s actually gluten free!” He was surprised and thought it was very good for being gluten free. He couldn’t even tell. What a success. His last remark was that if he was the Santa Clause himself, he would eat numerous of them if they were at the bottom of the chimney.

Shoutout to my grandmother for making the dough of these cookies. She is a fan favorite and got numerous compliments throughout this article. I can’t take all the credit for myself. Great job.
