When you think of the most aggressive, stubborn, and small person at Knoch, who comes to mind? For many, that person is sophomore Lindsey Wise.
Just kidding, but some people seem to think so.
“I like her aggression,” said junior Dylan Pinkerton, Wise’s boyfriend. “Her five foot stature is pretty cool too.”
“I feel like I’m not aggressive, but I get annoyed pretty easily,” Wise said.
Pinkerton said, “We met at the Saxonburg Parade. I knew we would be more than friends when I tried to talk to her, and she was so scared of me, she stared at her phone and didn’t even respond to a word I said.”’
This is what started it all.
Have you ever met someone who ditches their friends, even friends they’ve known for years, after they get a significant other? Well Wise is most definitely not that person.
Sophomore Molly Manzer is one of Wise’s closest friends that she has known for the last six years. They have so many fun memories together from softball, where they initially became friends, and cheerleading, where their bond grew even stronger. But, obviously there will be some fun moments outside of sports.
Manzer said, “She wore six inch heels to the eighth grade dance.”
“When I bought six inch heels I wanted to wear them the whole night,” Wise said. So, Wise practiced and practiced in those big, chunky heels until her confidence was soaring.
“We were all so shocked she could dance in them,” Manzer said, recalling this memory with Wise and her friends from about two years ago as her most memorable moment.
Wise is a itty bitty athlete who could crush you with her six inch heels if you upset her.
“I am very determined to do the things I say I will do,”she said.
Stubborn or strong-willed? You can decide.
In my own personal opinion, Wise might just be THE BEST person at Knoch High school. She is a great friend and you physically can’t be in a bad mood when your’e around her.
Mr Sypien, one of her favorite teachers, seems to agree. He had nothing but the best to say about Wise.
“Lindsey is such a friendly, hard working student!” Mr. Sypien said.
I agree with him! Wise is so easy to get along with and juggles more responsibilities than I can count.
Well spoken as always, Mr Sypien sums everything, saying, “Lindsey almost always has a smile on her face and treats others the way she would want to be treated.”
