If you ever see Junior Kevin Justi in the hallways, say hello and he will quickly find something in common with you. In addition to his wonderful personality, he has some great hair on his head.
“If I could look like one person, it would be him,” said Junior Codi Mullen. “He is a very cool guy with good hair.”
Senior Alec Lattanzio added, “He has really good hair and style”
“I mean it’s alright, but I don’t want to go bald,” said Justi.
Although his flow may help him with the ladies and apparently men, but I believe it also gives him superpowers at the barn.
He is also a beast at hockey and can score at ease. Justi looks like a stereotypical hockey player because of his flow, but instead of being a meany poo poo pants he is very nice and extremely social to everyone. He is also known for the other things that he does outside of school.
“I play Lacrosse JV, guitar and piano. I like making food and eating it after, and I also work at American Natural.” said Justi.
He finished his junior year of hockey with 9 points in 16 games, the sixth best on the team, but he will probably be remembered more for the amount of faceoffs he won.
Former Varsity Hockey Coach Bill Kline said “Hands down he tops the team in faceoff wins. In clutch situations we as coaches need to call on individuals to do what we need, and Kevin by far exceeds in that category.”
Even though he is crazy at hockey, his skills will probably not get him into a good hockey college.
Justi still plans on playing hockey past high school, “Probably for a club team but nothing for a scholarship or anything.”
Codi Mullen does believe that Justi will go to school for hockey, and he also believes that they will go to college together.
“Me and Kevin are going to the same college, Alabama University. We’re actually getting recruited right now,” said Mullen before reluctantly changing his mind. “Actually Michigan…heard they have a good hockey team, big puck and stick guy, you know.”
He does not feed into Mullen’s delusions and denies this when he said “No we aren’t,
because they both stink.”
Although Justi is very mean to Codi Mullen, he is a great leader and Lattanzio can attest to that.
“He’s really funny in the locker room and is like the glue that helps bring the team together,” said Lattanzio. “{I’m going to miss} the deep talks that we had in the locker room before every game and practice.”
“I just glaze everyone and support them and that’s about it” said Justi.
Even though he has some great leadership qualities and is pretty good at hockey, he unfortunately will probably not get to live out his NHL dreams.
Justi still has high hopes for the future, though. Scoring a 1430 on his SAT and being an academic weapon. nearly everyone he knows believes that he is destined for greatness.
“I have seen many athletes through my 30 years of coaching many different sports, very few athletes really understand that athletics are a road map of future success,” said Coach Bill. “The hard work and dedication put towards your team and the group effort are the secrets to life’s success. He will fare well long after his hockey days.”
