Need something built? Need someone to talk to? Just need a friend? Sophomore Alexander Andrasy is capable of all these things.
“I enjoy hitting things with a hammer!” said Andrasy.
He does building and construction in Votech and is good at it. Yes, he is as weird as that quote implies.
Despite being weird, Andrasy knows when to be serious. Andrasy is a good person to go to if you are in need of talking to someone.
Senior Todd Powell said, “The best thing about having Alex as a friend is probably having someone to talk to.”
Andrays’s friendships are all different from each other. He can act like a goof ball with one friend but, with a different friend he’s serious. Andrasy is funny and can cheer you up fast, he also has good advice.
Some advice Andrasy would give someone younger than him is “Don’t look at the past, focus on the future.”
Even his friends agree that he is a person you can go to if you need someone to talk to.
Sophomore Donald Wippenbeck said, “The best memory I have with Alex was definitely the Sadie Hawkins dance. It was a lot of fun.”
Though he is good in his building class in Votech and enjoys it because he gets to hit things with a hammer, he doesn’t like it all.
He said, “The worst part of Votech is definitely the safety test.”
Andrasy has worked on putting down flooring and painting. He has also done drywall.
In school, Andrasy can be described by his teachers as a student that completes his work.
“Alex was fun to have in class because he always said his opinions,” said Mr.Andreassi.
Andrasy got along with his classmates in history. Mr. Andressi remembered Andrasy as very friendly. Andrasy is someone who will talk to you for a while, to make sure you’re okay.
“Alex likes the same things I like, that’s why I think we get along so well,” said Wippenbeck.
Andrasy with his charm and kindness makes friends easily.
Wippenbeck said, “I can’t remember how we met, but as soon as I met him I knew we would be friends right away.”
