The game was against Deer lakes and the game was tied 2-2 with 5 minutes remaining. Kamryn Burtner, right winger for the Knoch soccer team got the ball after Macrina Robb had passed the ball and the rest is history. Burtner tapped the ball into the net and sealed the win for us against our biggest rival.

“It was exhilarating, but also a blur due to all of the anxiety, it felt like it was unreal,” said (Sophomore) Kamryn Burtner. This shows all of the pressure and anxiety that was on us to win this game and the exhilarating feeling of winning this game.

Burtner is also a very big fan of all types of music. She said that the Weeknd is her favorite artist to listen to. If you ever see her during school or when she’s at home, you will always find her listening to some sort of music. Whether it is the Pop style of the Weeknd, or the Indie style of Hozier, she is always listening to all kinds of music.

“He (The Weeknd) covers all areas in the music industry,” said Burtner. Personally, I believe that she should start listening to Morgan Wallen.

If you know Kamryn Burtner or know what she is like, then you know she is very close to her mom. Her and her mom always do cool things such as watch movies, and do a bunch of fun stuff together. Burtner’s mom told me a lot about her that I might have not known about her before, such as her love for Christmas or that she is thinking about being a pediatric nurse.

“Kamryn is the coolest! I love to hangout, play games, watch tv, bake, shop, travel, plan trips, etc, with Kamryn,” said Mrs. Burtner. Burtner and her mom hangout and love to be around one another.

Burtner also has a bunch of friends in this school! One of her friends, Alena Tekely, had a lot to say about her. Tekely had stated that her most memorable moment with Burtner was at her house on 4th of July. Tekely didn’t give me details about what they did that night. That is probably for the best.

“She was a tall blonde girl who sat near me in class,” said Alena Tekely. Judging by her statement about when she first met her, it seems they got to know each other throughout the years and didn’t immediately become close friends.

Bella Oskin is another one of Burtners good friends. Oskin is one of her teammates on the soccer team and they started becoming really close friends from that.

“Kam is very outgoing, she knows how to make people laugh and I really like to hangout with her,” said Bella. This shows how much people like Kam Burtner and think she is a funny and kind person.
