Freshman Isabelle Parisi is an energetic, friendly, involved young lady who has a lot of interests. Some students do not know about her incredible dance background and abilities. Parisi was an essential part of the dance troupe for the school musical, “Hello, Dolly!” last year.
- What is your favorite style of dance? Do you get to do this type of dancing a lot?
“I love all of my styles. But, lyrical or modern. I get about an hour of lyrical every week.”
- Do you perform for your dance studio? If so, how often?
“I do! Not competitively, though. Around July of every year, we have a recital.”
- What was it like being the only freshman in the dance troupe for the musical last year?
“It’s actually really fun! I learned a lot from the other girls. It’s cool being the only freshman!”
- When did you start dancing? What motivated you to start dancing at this age?
“I started…I think when I was three. My mom just had me try different activities, and the one I could start right away was dancing!”
- How did people treat you in the musical?
“They treated me as if I was always there! It was like they always knew me.”
- Were you friends with any of the upperclassmen before starting the musical? If so, who?
“Yes! Ava Breese, Sam Robb, Harrisyn Schilpp, Jacob Ruediger, and Molly Manzer. There were a couple I knew, but I wasn’t previously friends with them.”
- Will you be doing the musical again this year? If so, do you think you will audition for the dance troupe again?
“Yes and yes! I’m not a huge actor. I tried singing, and it gets me by.”
