Billie Eilish, Hozier, Taylor Swift, and Ricky Montgomery: these are just some of the artists I have had the chance to see live. The stuffiness of the crowd and the energetic people of the venue can never be recreated alone with Spotify open on your phone. Concerts are a privilege lots of us get to enjoy, and many here at Knoch, like me, have had a wild concert list!
Knoch High School is, frankly, in the middle of nowhere. The remoteness of our nice little school doesn’t give us many things to do, but a mere 45 minutes away is the bustling city of Pittsburgh,the closest place that concerts are held.
Our nearby city has held many iconic shows with many more coming up.
Juniors Natalie Cypher and Breanna Mccormick are heading down for a night on the town, but also to see Wyatt Flores.
“I’ve only been listening to him for a year and a half but the tickets were a good price,” said Cypher
Cypher has only been to two concerts before, both being Zach Bryan, but she was more than happy to add this to her list!
Senior Elaina Ross also had exciting concert memories,with one of the most remarkable ones being Queen Nicki Minaj!
Ross has been listening to Nicki since she was just five years old! (a true fan)
“My experience at the venue was amazing and so much fun!” Ross said
Ross had gotten her tickets for only $80, which she thinks is definitely a fair price!
In my opinion, a really good price for someone else getting the tickets.
“It felt like a club!” Ross said
Adding Nicki Minaj to her list of concerts is definitely one of the best!
Sophomore Eli Andrews most recently went to Don Toliver with Ski Mask the Slump God.
So did half of Knoch High School it seems like…
“I bought the tickets myself, and they were $130, so I thought they were pretty cheap.” Andrews said.
I don’t know what kind of job Andrews has to call $130 cheap…
Several students went to Toliver and had a blast!
“I’ve been listening to him for four years and it was my fourth concert,” said Andrews
“This concert was a ton of fun, I’m happy I went. Great venue and great artist!”
Glad he could add Toliver to his list!
One upcoming concert that is sure to put anyone into the holiday spirit is Mariah Carey!
The Christmas Queen blessed us last year, and she’s doing it again.
Carey will be at PPG, on December 11th.
For peanut heaven, tickets are $76.20 before fees and for a closer seat to the magic it’s $142.70 before fees!
And if you really feel jolly and want to be right next to Mariah herself, you can pay a starting price of $190.45.

Another great artist that is coming here is Girl in Red with Gigi Perez!
These two iconic singers will be at Stage AE November 29th!
For the starting price of $54 you can get front row (general admission) to the ‘we fell in love in october” singer!
You get two shows in one night just for $70.
Now that seems like a deal!

The Clarks will be performing at Stage AE for Nick’s Fat City Reunion!
The general admission starting cost only goes for $32, and even after the outrage fees it comes out to be under $50!
Looks like our hometown rock band likes us.
