In a new surprising move, Ohio Gubernatorial candidate and avid Trump supporter Vivek Ramaswamy is to drop out of the race to become new Vice Principal of Knoch.
“I am very excited to start this new journey and thankful to this great community and to God for allowing me this opportunity to spread my knowledge at this establishment of learning,” said Ramaswamy.
Unless you have been living under a rock, you probably know that our current principal, Mr. Trofimuk, is retiring after the end of this school year. What you also probably know is that we recently had a presidential election that saw Donald Trump defeat Kamala Harris to come back into the presidency after losing in 2020.
What you probably remember most about this election is the amount of public figures that either came out and supported someone in the election and also those who became new public figures for voicing their support for a candidate. Ramaswamy was one of the Trump team’s loudest voices. A once CEO of Biotech Sciences turned Republican presidential candidate, who afterward strongly supported President Trump, made people across the country learn Ramaswamy’s long, hard to say name. This begs the question; why is he coming to a small high school in little old Saxonburg?
“I want to start making this school feel good about itself,” said Ramaswamy. “This means possibly some new rules, changes, and perhaps school wide improvements.”
Anyway, the feelings about the change across the High School are very very very mixed. Some people like Junior Alex Andrasy are very excited for Ramaswamey to be the new principal, while others like Junior Grace Mayhugh are extremely upset about the new hire.
“I am hyped,” said Andrasy, “I love this guy. He will make Knoch great again.”
“He is a goofball” said Mayhugh.
Although he does not have support from 100% of the students at Knoch, he knows that and will do whatever it takes to gain trust.
“I know there are some people out there that do not like me, but trust me when I say, I will do everything in my power to try to make this school the best school in the great state of Pennsylvania,” says Ramaswamy.
His ideas about what he wants to change and what others should expect are very simple and straightforward.
“I think we need to be the first to take a step into the right direction,” said Ramaswamy, “That’s why we will be getting rid of certain clubs and organizations while adding others. We also need to step up our learning experience and teach more about economic literacy. I also want to make all of the students here a group of leaders and high achievers, and I will watch them excel in their life.”
“These are some great rules and I can’t wait for him to start.” said Andrasy
“I guess I have to move to Canada now,” said Mayhugh
Another thing Ramaswamy said that has people puzzled is that he plans to make everybody wear uniforms; he feels today’s fashion causes mass confusion.
“If they walk in here with unnatural colored hair, like green, I will send them home myself,” said Ramaswamy.“These crazy people just walk in here one day and decide to be different. No, you’re either going to change or I will make you.”
