A classroom of rowdy Middle Schoolers are doing what most do, goofing off. A great bearded man walks in the room. He calms the class down and introduces himself as Mr. Smith.  This was my first experience with Mr. Smith

“He replaced a teacher who was really uptight,” said Ms. Thompson. “It was weird seeing a person that is so laid back.”

This is a common thing that you will notice when people talk about Mr. Smith. His laid back personality is a very common thing that is talked about in conversations about him.

“My favorite trait, I would have to say that he is laid back,” said Connor Johns. Now let’s see what the man himself has to say about his chill personality.

“I don’t know, it just kind of happened,” he said.

He also said that his favorite trait was his laid back personality.

“I am easy going and laid back,” said Smith.

Ms. Thompson’s favorite trait of Mr. Smith’s is…

“His beard.”

“He is good with his words,” said freshman Ty Pitkins on the same subject.

Although Mr. Smith is a really chill dude, he is still subject to having some awkward moments.

Ms. Thompson said, “I was at graduation and Mr. Smith told me that his wife was pregnant. He said that she was due in two weeks.”

“I don’t talk about my personal life,” said Mr. Smith.

Another awkward thing is when Ms. Thompson told me to ask Mr. Smith about his Christmas Picture, so I did.

“I went to JCPenneys to get pictures taken. I was wearing socks and sandals, glasses, and a tie dye shirt with a wolf on it. I sent them as Christmas cards. They went to Iraq, Georgia, and San Francisco. It was an awkward family photo equivalent,” said Mr. Smith.

That is the good thing about Mr. Smith he can just have a conversation with you about anything in the world.

When asked if he wanted to add anything Mr. Smith replied, “Keep on keepin on.”
