Cheery Aly Stull
Junior Aly Stull is a super athletic and busy girl with a great mind set. While many people know her for being on the varsity cheer squad, there is so much more to uncover.
Friendly, kind hearted, and positive are a few characteristics to describe Stull. She is looked up to by many, especially the girls that have Stull as their cheer coach.
“Spartans Cheerleading has really brought Aly and I closer. We not only get to spend time together, but we get to help little girls learn to cheer,” said junior Kaylee Rodgers, one of her closest friends.
Spartans Cheerleading has had a big influence on Stull throughout the years.
“Because of coaching I have realized that I love to make little kids smile and that teaching younger kids could be a good career option for me,” said Stull.
Some of the people that know Stull best would also agree with this.
“I see Aly working with children. She is a great leader and kids love her!” said Mrs. Sonja West, mother of Junior Emma West and varsity cheer coach.
Stull tries to surround herself with people that look at the good in bad situations.
“I wish I was as caring as Beanz [nickname for Mackenzie Moretti] because there is not one person in this world that, that girl does not care about,” said Stull.
Beanz also loves Stull’s attitude.
“Aly’s happiness is one thing I admire about her. No matter what is going on in her life, she always has a smile on her face and looks at the bright side in everything,” said Beanz.
However nobody is perfect and everyone can use some tips and advice especially in a challenging sport like cheerleading.
“She could practice shouting cheers and project her voice rather than singing them,” said Mrs. West.
Stull likes to spend time with friends and in doing that, sing.
“I love to jam out to High School Musical in her yellow jeep,” said Beanz.
Beanz and Stull like to sing in harmony. Beanz taking the male lead, Troy, and Stull taking the female lead, Gabriella.
“My favorite song to jam out with Beanz is definitely “Breaking Free”, said Stull.
Like Beanz and Stull, Rodgers and Stull have made many memories together over the years, especially at the Taylor Swift concert, 1995.
“I think we were more entertaining than the actual concert,” said both Rodgers and stull agreed Stull.
Stull clearly knows when to have fun and when she needs to take it down a few notches, but during cheer her coach thinks that she has a great personality.
“Enthusiastic: she never has a frown on her face and she is always excited for whatever we are doing at practice,” said Mrs. West.
Mrs. West might as well have taken the words right out of Beanz’s mouth.
“No matter what the score is, she is always jumping up and down trying to lighten the mood,” said Beanz.
Stull has big plans for the future.
“I really want to go to Disney World with my best friends because Disney World is the happiest place on Earth and my best friends would be the icing on the cake,” said Stull.
Stull not only has big plans for her future, but so does her cheer coach and friends.
“Aly has a good chance at becoming captain next year. She learns cheers quickly and is able to create her own dances and cheers if asked,” said Mrs. West.
With all of these high standards to live up to Stull is a well-rounded girl with an astonishing personality.
“Aly is a great cheerleader and a beautiful girl inside and out. I am fortunate to have her on the squad,” said Mrs. West.
Beanz and Rodgers both admire Stull in different ways.
“She is an amazing friend and I don’t know what I would do without her!” said Beanz.
“It’s comforting to know that I always will have her as someone I can go to for anything at any time and without a doubt she will be there for me,” said Rodgers.
Stull’s life is very busy, but as of now she is content.
“I am really happy with my life and I can’t wait for the future,” said Stull.
Kayla Travis is a sophomore. She enjoys twirling baton, spending time with her friends and making the most out of life. One of her pet peeves is when people go out of their way to put others down.
