Fashion Your Seatbelts
This year I was (unfortunately) tasked with doing the fashion article, even though I have no sense of fashion. Regardless, I have been tasked, and so I must do. I went scouring around the school, searching far and wide for the most fashionable fellas I could find. And let me tell ya, I found them alright. Also, I didn’t find any girls because I am afraid of them. With that said, let us get right to it.
The first person that I interviewed was none other than the infamous junior, Zachary Thompson. Thompson has a shocking fashion statement in that he only wears tropical button up shirts.
“I like to express myself,” said Thompson, when asked what the dealio was with the shirts. “That’s all there is to it.”
Thompson has said that the tropical shirts have been a huge help to his reputation, and have also been a real hit with the ladies. Maybe.
“I always get the shirts with the floral print; they’re my favorite by far,” Thompson said.
I tried to ask if he had anything else to add, but he simply responded with “Math,” and then walked away.
My next interview was from senior Tristan Lynch, who is rocking the best graphic tees you’ve probably ever seen.
“I started wearing them in 3rd grade, and I haven’t stopped since,” said Lynch. “I like the designs… and the epic references.
I threw him onto the spot when I asked him what his favorites were and he got a little kooky.
“Venture Brothers, Gorillaz, uh, don’t put that ‘uh’ in,” said Lynch. “Oh you *bleep*, you put that in!”
Although he has his favorites, he really isn’t too picky in what he wears.
“If I had a million dollars, I would buy all of the shirts,” said Lynch. “No, seriously, all of them.”
Lynch, being the sassy fashionista that he is, only had the best advice to give to the fans.
“Watch Venture Brothers, and be happy,” said Lynch.
Our final interview is an odd choice, but a good one nonetheless. Junior Christopher Christy, a cyber-school student, has been rocking the “I don’t care about my life” style lately. I called him up on Skype to get the scoop.
“My style hasn’t really changed since I’ve started cyber,” said Christy. “I don’t have to put shoes on though, so that’s okay.”
Christy’s style isn’t just fancy looking, but practical as well, as he’s been quite comfortable during his days.
“It’s not about making a statement,” said Christy. “I’m not a statement maker, I’m a cake maker.”
Although I got a lot of information from his interview, I must have done it at a bad time, as when I asked if there’d be anything else he’d like to add, he said “2 + 2,” burped into his microphone, and then left the Skype call.
In conclusion, this year’s fall fashion is great. It’s refreshing, new, interesting, and relatively cheap, for the most part. Be sure to keep an eye out for these fellas that I’ve interviewed, and keep an eye on the catalog for the new looks. Don’t do both at one time, though. That’s how you get a lazy eye.
