Self Proclaimed Tattoo Artist?

Artist of the Week

Artist of the week, a new, interesting artist and piece every week. This week I decided to keep it simple and introduce you to me and my art. I know it seems like I’m cheating a bit, but it’s a good way to introduce what I know and can do before I talk about and showcase others and their work.

Artist: Me

Featured artwork: Skeleton hand

About the artwork: So, I was bored one night. I ended up pulling out my pens and markers to fix a friend’s homecoming sign, and it led to me drawing a skeleton hand on my arm. I’ve been weirdly interested in drawing this piece for about a year. Frankly, I don’t know why.

Why am I an artist: My mom introduced me to art and drawing as a kid. She had watercolors, pastels, colored pencils, and markers. Every time we went to restaurants she would use the crayons and draw something really cool on the placemats. I would always try to copy her, and that was the start of it all.
