This week’s album is Skins by X. I decided to not interview anyone this week because I feel like the review would be better heard from me rather than anyone else. The album was dropped last friday, December 7th. The track includes ten songs at about 20 minutes all together. The album’s only feature was Kanye West on One Minute.

Almost six months after X was shot and killed in an apparent robbery his posthumous was finally released. I love it. The album not only included the type of sound that turned X into a mainstream artist such as Guardian Angel but also included his original Soundcloud sound such as One Minute. My favorite song in the album is Guardian then I Don’t Let Go. The songs perfectly capture X as who he was before his passing. As always X’s album perfectly pulled at your heart strings and put you in your head. The album was an example of art and showed the meaning of an artist.
