In 1983, Debra Rodgers’ body was found in the Tuscarora State Forest. Her wrists were split, and it look as though it were a suicide. For 36 years, the case was closed and thought to be such. In 2017, Rodgers’ was charged with first degree murder. The trial went on for four and a half hours, and was strung out over 6 days. In the end, Rodgers was found innocent, and showed little emotion in the case. It is still unknown what really happened, although many still suspect that Rodgers dumped her body.
About the Contributor
Jocelyn Adley, Staff Writer
Hey there! My name's Jocelyn if you didn't know. Since you'll be reading a few of my articles, why don't I tell you a little about myself. I'm a senior this year and I'm still probably one of the least known people in the school, even though it's my 6th year here. I may not play for a team anymore but you will likely find me spending my time playing hockey, playing the violin, reading, writing, or brushing up on my photography skills. So now that you know a little about me, give me a shout some time.
