1. Singapore’s national anthem is in micro-text on the back of their $1000 note.
2. It is one of three surviving city states along with Monaco and Vatican City.
3. Singapore’s Bukit Timah Nature Reserve holds more species of trees than the entire North American continent.
4. Singapore also has 63 islands, but they are mostly uninhabited.
5. It hosted the first night race for the Formula 1 World Championship.
