Explored the Krakow main square and talking with people from all over the world.
Tell me about the about the best food you ate and where did you get it?
Beef pierogies that were severed at our hotel, the Chochołowy Dwór.
Tell me about the people?
People from all over the world were here for this event so the cultures were so diverse. You’d turn a street corner and see French kids sing prayers or you’d see Brazilians dancing and singing samba.
What was the craziest or weirdest thing you saw?
Vendors were selling a suspiciously large amount of Nazi Memorabilia in the former Jewish ghetto.
Would you recommend going there to other students?
Absolutely, Krakow is a must see for must see for anyone that that has an interest in in history. The architecture the city is beautiful, the countryside is magical and the culture is so interesting!
Do you go to any attractions that are interesting?
Czestochowa, The shrine of Christ the Redeemer, The Krakow Jewish Ghetto, Budapest, Hungary Orava castle
Is there anything else you would like to tell about your trip?
- Make sure to fly with Lufthansa the flight was great.
- Slovakia is weird.
- European vendors are used to haggling.
