Raccoon Creek State Park is located in southern Beaver County, Pa. It is one of Pennsylvania’s largest and most visited state parks. The park is open every day of the year from sunrise to sunset. However, the beach and the overnight areas are only open certain hours and certain seasons. Raccoon Creek State Park encompasses 7,572 acres and it also features a 100-acre lake! Some of the top things to do here are hiking, fishing, visiting the Wildflower Reserve, kayaking, going to the beach, camping, and hunting. Enjoy camping here with 172 tent and trailer campsites to choose from! These campsites include access to flush facilities, showers, and the option of electricity. On October 27 at 7:00 pm, Raccoon Creek State Park is having a Halloween Night Hike where you can venture the dark trails and when you return they hand out candy and you can roast marshmallows around the fire! This park holds cool events all the time and I highly recommend taking your family and friends here for a little getaway!
