Super Supersets
Are you tired of picking up a weight and doing the same exercise for 3 reps of 12. I know I am. So why not spice it up with some supersets? Wait… wait …. Wait. You’ve never heard of a superset???
Don’t worry I got you covered. A superset is two exercises performed back to back with no rest inbetween. For example my favorite superset is 12 reps kettlebell swings combined with 12 reps calf raises. After I do that a rest for 30 seconds to a minute and repeat for 3 sets.
I love doing supersets because they help,me save time. I am a VERY busy person so I usually have to be in and out of the gym in 45 minutes. They are also fantastic if you want to increase the intensity of your workout and incorporating variety into your workout!
You can do so many combinations of isolation and compound movements. You can even combine cardio!! You can also add a third movement and make it a tri-set!!
Overall I love supersets and I rarely get through a workout without one!
