Ethan Sloane
It’s finally spring sports season! Not only is baseball season back but it’s also a time for the cold weather to go away and the warm weather to start rolling in. This year Knoch baseball is planning on having yet another successful season. After winning the section two years in a row, the Knights are planning to make it a threepeat. One of the players hoping to lead the team to another section win is Senior Ethan Sloane.
“For the past couple years Freeport has been our rivals, but this year our toughest opponent will probably be Greensburg Salem or Yough,” said Sloane.
Sloane isn’t the only player to keep an eye out for this year, as the team has many returning seniors the team will be very experienced.
“Everybody should keep an eye out for Tucker Scully because he’s so dang cute,” said Sloane.
“The seniors did a great job last in leading our team so I hope the seniors this year will be able to follow in their footsteps,” said Sloane.
Not only is the team looking good this but the team also has a very good coaching staff to go with it. Head being coach O’Donnell as you may remember him from seventh grade english class and assistants being coach Hall and Roddy.
“The coaches are fantastic! I think we have one of the strongest staffs in the section, if not the WPIAL,” exclaimed Sloane.
Remember to pay attention to this years baseball season as it could be a very successful season for your Knights!
