The movie starts with Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) with his family when they dust away. The movie cuts to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) trapped in space with oxygen slowly running out. They are saved by Captain Marvel (Brie Larson). The entire avengers meet Stark and decide to find Thanos (Josh Brolin). Thanos is found on a small planet with zero defenses and is cooking when the avengers burst through his hut and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) cut off Thanos’s head after Thanos explains that he got rid of the infinity stones.

Five years have passed when a rat hit a button on Scott Lang aka antman’s van releasing him from the quantum realm. He finds Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), to which he explains how he has a theory about time travel and how to save the world! They track Stark down who now has a family and asks if he can make time travel possible. He says that he can’t. The group then meets Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) who is both Hulk and Banner together. They attempt to travel in time which ends badly for the group. Tony figures out how the time travel works and rushes over to the avengers’ headquarters which they embark on what is called a time heist to get the 6 infinity stones.

There are complications during the heist such as the soul stone were one person has to die in order to receive the stone. Black widow sacrifices herself in order to retrieve the stone by jumping off a cliff. The second problem comes with Iron man, Captain America, and Antman can’t get one of the stones and have to travel farther back in time. They do this and Tony has an awkward conversation with his father about being a dad and Captain America sees his old love interest. The third and finale complications come with nebula being back in time which alerts an earlier version of Thanos that is furious that he is destined to die in the future. So he tricks nebula and replaces her with an older version of present-day nebula. Once they are all back in the future or present time. They assemble an infinity gauntlet. Hulk is the strongest and most stable avenger snaps every dusted person back.

Past Thanos shows up to the present day and a large fight breaks out with every marvel character showing up to fight. Stark and Thanos have a brief fight and Thanos gets ahold on the new infinity gauntlet tries to snap the world out of existence but Iron man Thought ahead and had gotten ahold of the stones snapping Thanos and his army out of existence instead. Iron man ends up not being strong enough to hold all six stones and dies. The movie ends with Captain America going back in time to put back the stones and living with his old love interest.

I gave this movie five stars because it is an amazing end to an amazing story arch that is ten years old. The movie is action-packed with times of humor and times that are sad and emotional. This three-hour movie will always be one of my favorites.
