Hello Knoch High School. My name is Megan Mitchell and welcome to my health and fitness blog: Eat and Energize!

Let me ask you a question. What is the best kind of exercise? Well honestly, the best kind of exercise is the one you enjoy and are willing to do. All jokes aside, the health benefits of  cardio and weight training  are very different. Just like the health benefits of eggs and vegetables are very different. In this blog we will be talking about all things fitness- foods and exercise.

I love to exercise. Crazy, right? My favorite way to exercise is by playing tennis, or doing stuff with weights and resistance training. I find it so much fun, and if you don’t believe me, I want you to just try it. Go for a walk, and don’t tell me it’s not relaxing. Walking is also great for exercise. In this blog, I will share different types of exercise that you should try. You never know, you might actually enjoy it. Food is also so important. Food fuels your body so you can exercise. Now, I love food, and I’m always learning something new about food. It can be hard to eat healthy, so I’ll be sharing some tips with you about how to eat healthier. I’m currently trying to be more open minded when it comes to vegetables. Let’s just say that veggies are not my favorite. And let’s not forget the importance of water. Hydrate or die-drate, my friends.
