Hey there! Because my girl Savannah Hoculock decided to transfer to online school, I am retiring our old fun stuff: Savanna(h)^2 Slays Sheetz. Therefore, I have decided that my new fun stuff will be Senior Snapshots, where I highlight different seniors every week. To start things off, I talked to senior Tayden Harrold!
Name: Tayden “Rick” Harrold
- What activities/clubs/sports do you participate in?
I am in yearbook, student council (secretary), Drama Club (president), Photography Club (vice president), Science Club, Radio Club, History Club, National Honor Society, Fall Play, and Spring Musical. I’ve probably forgotten about something.
- What class/club/sport has made the biggest impact on your high school career?
Yearbook class made the biggest impact on me because I started talking to more people, and that helped me come out of my shell.
- What advice on high school do you wish someone would’ve given you before your freshman year?
To get out and do more clubs/activities. They’re one of the biggest things that shaped me into who I am today.
- What is your favorite memory from high school?
In 2024, the play I directed was called “Chasing Charming.” It was so much fun with all my friends, but it was also so stressful. I ended up making myself sick from stress.
- Is there a special place/classroom in the school that means a lot to you?
Ms. Thompson’s room; if someone can’t find me, I’m most likely in Ms. T’s room. Her room is like my 2nd home, it has such a comfy vibe to it.
Thanks, Rick! The staff of the Knight Times wishes you well in all your future endeavors!
