Welcome back for another edition of Senior Snapshots! This week, I talked to one of my closest friends, Hannah Butler. Keep reading to hear all about her high school experience.
Name: Hannah Butler
- What activities/clubs/sports do you participate in?
I am our class president, NHS president, and I have been the Chemistry club president as well as the Academic Games president. I was opinion editor for the Knight Times last year, and I’ve done track all four years of high school. They’ve all had an impact, but writing for the Knight Times prepared me most for college.
- Where do you see yourself in ten years?
I hope to be successful and to have made an impact on someone’s life in one way or another. I see myself in a cozy home with tasteful decorations and a few cats.
- What advice on high school do you wish someone would’ve given you before your freshman year?
It’s okay to be weird! Do what makes you happy and don’t worry about missing out. I am happy with being boring!
- What is your favorite memory from high school?
My favorite memories come mostly from field trips and away track meets. I loved exploring Pittsburgh and going on the Gateway Clipper in my freshman year.
- Is there a special place/classroom in the school that means a lot to you?
The auditorium holds a lot of memories for me. I’ve gotten to watch both of my sisters perform on stage doing what they love, and soon I’ll get to be there again for Awards Night.
- Anything else to add?
Savanna Hawk is awesome, and I hope my answers aren’t too vague.
Thank you, Hannah! The staff of the Knight Times wishes you well in all your future endeavors!
