What performing arts classes are you in?

“I’m in Chamber Strings, Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Concert Orchestra.”

Do you have a favorite Performing Arts memory?

“Probably the closer we played when I was in 8th Grade for Marching Band. We played Beethoven’s 5th but it was super jazzy and cool.”

How many instruments do you play or what is your range in singing?

“I play String Bass, Electric Bass, Percussion, Snare Drum, and a little Guitar. I don’t know what my range is in singing because I am definitely NOT a singer haha.”

What’s the craziest thing you remember from Performing Arts?

“Whenever, the drumline instructor one year threw a mallet at a Bass Drum in 8th grade.”

Favorite band or orchestra moment?

“I think that it’s the high you get when you hear the applause and knowing you just did something amazing.”

How did you get started playing your instruments?

Percussion-“Started in 8th grade because my sister was in Marching Band.”

Bass- “Started in 6th grade because my brother said I would get into Jazz Band. Then, Mr. C said” “Hey, come join Orchestra!”

Guitar-“I just got a Guitar for Christmas and there you go.”

What kind of music do you listen to after school?

“Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of K-Pop, but I also like Jazz and 60’s Rock/Pop.”
