I’m pretty sure a majority of our generation spends some time watching show after show on Netflix, so after a while it gets kind of hard to find new shows. You end up rewatching something you’ve already watched, or you end up spending hours trying to find a new show.

I took it upon myself to go around and ask people what their favorite Netflix shows were. This way you can hopefully save some time in finding a new show.

Family moves into a house, known as the murder house, and it is haunted by ghosts of former residents

I heard a lot of people talking about it on social media and wanted to understand the references

Vivien because she seemed to be the only sane one in the beginning of the show. She stands up for violet her daughter a lot as well

Ben because he cheats on his wife and is weird. He is constantly flaky and causes a lot of problems for his family

What Netflix show do you watch?

Black Mirror and Stranger Things

On what season and episode are you?

I am current on both shows having watched all three seasons of Black Mirror and the whole first season of Stranger Things

What is it about?

Black Mirror is about how technology had made humanity artificial and shallow; Stranger Things is about a bunch of kids facing paranormal things in the 1980s

Why did you start watching?

Mr. Smith and Mrs. Hanner told me that I’d love both of the shows

Who is your favorite character and why?

Hmm… that’s tough. Nevermind it’s obviously Eleven from Stranger Things. She makes bullies pee their pants and flips vans with a thought. She’s pretty intense.

Who is your least favorite character and why?

I can’t stand most of the characters in Black Mirror because they are weird combinations of Kardashians and dictators. Ew.

Anything else you would like to add?

The greatest show ever is Game of Thrones, but it’s on HBO.

What Netflix show do you watch?

Black Mirror

On what season and episode are you?

I’ve watched all three seasons.

What is it about?

It is a show centered around how we act as people and where we could be going.  A lot of episodes deal in the future but feature themes that do not seem very difficult to have happen.  It is a great show to watch because it doesn’t need to be seen in chronological order.  All episodes are independent of each other and can be compared to “The Twilight Zone” or “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”.  Most episodes are very thought provoking and an interesting look at where we might be heading.

Why did you start watching it?

I was told about it from a friend.

Who is your favorite character and why?

There are different characters in every episode so it is difficult to pick a favorite.  I will say that my favorite episode was in Season 2 and titled “White Bear”.

Who is your least favorite character and why?

Again, difficult to answer.  All of the actors/actresses are incredibly talented and cast well.  I will answer similar to the previous question and say that my least favorite episode was entitled “15 Million Merits” and dealt with an American Idol type theme.

Anything else you would like to add?

It is a really great show but some themes can be mentally exhausting and somewhat deranged.  I would also warn that the first episode in Season 1 entitled “The National Anthem” is pretty grotesque and not the best summary of the entire series.  Honestly, it is pretty messed up.
