Senior year is only dreamt of by underclassmen, and seniors themselves are savoring the moment of their senior nights.
Here is some insight from some of our seniors on various teams that have had their senior night.
Lily Crowley: Girls Soccer
When was your senior night?
Our senior night was 10/6/25.
How long have you been playing your sport and what does it mean to you?
I have played for 12 years and to me soccer just a fun game where I can run around and play hard. I am not competitive, but I always try my best and want to make my team proud.
How do you feel about your senior night?
I was very happy about my senior night and it was very special. I had a lot of fun and I’m so thankful for everyone who helped set it up and everyone who came.
What was your favorite moment of senior night? Why?
I got a goal which was great, but my favorite part was walking through the tunnel and seeing all of my friends.
Zach Szebalskie: Football
When is your senior night?
My senior night is Friday, October 17th.
How long have you been playing your sport and what does it mean to you?
I’ve been playing football for 11 years now. Football has meant a lot to me over the years. It has been a huge part of my life. I have gained friendships that will last a lifetime from playing football.
How do you feel about senior night? Why?
I’m excited for it, but I am also sad that it is approaching. It means that I will play my last game ever on the Knoch field.
What was your favorite moment of senior year so far? Why?
Probably hanging out and being with my friends everyday. I have gotten really close to some people. Also, the senior skip days are nice.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I would like to tell my underclassmen friends to enjoy their time. It goes by quickly. I would also like to tell my senior friends that they are my closest friends and I wish them good luck with whatever they do in the future.
Aaron Volts: Golf
When was your senior night?
September 16th, against Seneca Valley.
How long have you been playing your sport and what does it mean to you?
Since 10th grade for high school, but for when I first started was when I was around 7ish.
How do you feel about your senior night?
I feel happy because as a team we had the best score I’ve ever been apart of. It was a great night. Sad to not play with some of the guys in a competitive mode again (probably), but happy to have some really fun memories.
What was your favorite moment of senior night? Why?
Just being with all my friends and talking, messing around, and thankful for all the people who bought food for us.
Abigail Markiewicz: Tennis
When was your senior night?
October 2nd.
How long have you been playing your sport and what does it mean to you?
I have been playing tennis for 4 years and have really come to love the sport. I love being a part of a team and pushing each other to work harder.
How do you feel about your senior night?
While our last match against Burrell got cancelled on our senior night, we still had a really fun night hanging out with family and friends.
What was your favorite moment of senior night? Why?
My favorite memory from senior night was getting to have fun hitting with my teammates and coach.
Allison Godot: Volleyball
When is your senior night?
10/14/25
How long have you been playing your sport and what does it mean to you?
I have been playing volleyball for 6 years. It’s a fun and athletic activity for me with a great team aspect.
How do you feel about senior night? Why?
Senior night is a memorable event for me that celebrates us seniors, I loved seeing the effort everyone made for making it a great night. It makes me feel appreciated and it recognizes the seniors ending a chapter, but also a new one begins.
What is your favorite moment of your senior year so far? Why?
My favorite moment of my senior year so far is playing volleyball with my teammates and completing our senior season. We celebrated our amazing senior night, and I loved playing the sport.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I would recommend to anyone to enjoy the moments you have now because it goes by way too fast.
