Better days are ahead for this year’s basketball team. After a disappointing season last year only winning one or two games, the Knights are looking for a turn around. Having moved down a section from 5A to 4A the Knights will be playing schools closer to our size. They will also be gaining back key player Brady Mckee after missing multiple seasons due to a back injury.

The team tries to keep a close bond throughout the season in order to play as one.

“When we break our huddle we say family to remind each person to play your hardest for each other,” said junior Scott Fraser.

Since the basketball team has been moved to a lower section they’ll be facing less competitive teams, but will still be facing some pretty good teams.

“Our biggest competition is Highlands. They are a competitive team and have a player who is really tall and can dunk,” said Fraser.

“All and all, I think we’ll have a very good season,” said Fraser.
