Q: How has COVID-19 affected the season so far?
A: It has affected us negatively because of how little fans we have been able to have support us at games and throughout the season.

Q: How has COVID-19 affected the season so far?

A: Covid has impacted the volleyball team in a number of ways. Because of the limit of only 25 people allowed in the gym at a time, jv and varsity have to practice “separate” but it’s

really just splitting the gym by the divider. In doing this, the jv girls don’t have the opportunity to practice with varsity and learn from watching the older girls play. Not only does this rule limit the amount of people allowing in the gym, but some girls are even asked not to attend away games simply because there’s not enough room on the bus to social distance. We also can’t say after school and eat dinners together before away games which takes away from our team bonding experiences. And of course….our sectors. As a senior, it’s really upsetting for myself and my family that they can’t come watch what could be my last season. There’s so much uncertainty with this virus so I can’t say that I have any idea of what to expect for the rest of the season. The rules are constantly changing.
