What is your involvement in the arts? 

I’ve played the piano since I was 6, and I perform with the Knoch High School Jazz and Concert bands, and I’m in the band at my church. I love taking any opportunity that I can to perform/learn more about the arts. 

What are your music/performing goals? 

I want to continue improving my piano skills, and I want to learn to play acoustic guitar. I also want to get as many new opportunities as I can to perform with different groups/in different places. 

Who is an artist or role model you look up to and why?

I look up to Billy Joel who is one of my favorite artists. I admire his talent and passion for music and his incredible performance skills. 

Do you have a favorite song?

I can’t choose a favorite song to listen to, but right now my favorite song to play on the piano is Sign of The Times by Harry Styles, which I learned for a recent piano recital. 

What sparked your interest? 

I started taking piano lessons when I was 6, and I fell in love with music. From there on I’ve continued to take lessons and get better at my instrument. 

What are your future plans? Do they involve music? Why or why not? 

I have a lot of passion for writing, listening, to and performing music, and I plan on pursuing a career in music production / songwriting. 

What is your next upcoming performance? 

I’m performing with the Knoch High School Concert band on May 13th.
